　セルジオ・メンデスというブラジル人の名前は知っているものの、アルバムを買って聴くようなことはこれまでありませんでした。
　本作はたまたまお店で手にして裏を見たら、ダニー・ハサウェイの"Someday We'll All Be Free"が入っているようなので買ってみたの。

　ブラジル人、ということで期待してしまうような要素の希薄な、ただのイージー・リスニングですなこりゃ。
　MORのアルバムは有名曲があればあるほど売れる、というクライヴ・デイヴィス勝利の法則に従ったのか、本作にも有名曲がズラッと並んでいます。
　セルメンさんはスティーヴィー・ワンダーのことがよほど好きなのでしょう。3曲もやってますよ。

　ふたりの女性ヴォーカルは何度聴いても、どっちがどっちだかわかりません。アル＆ズートな状態。
　べつにわからなくてもいいと思う。わからなくても本作は楽しいですよ。
