　銃撃前のラリー・カールトンは、アコースティック・ギターに傾倒していました。本作はそういう1枚。

　世間一般のクロスオーヴァーやフュージョン作品にありがちな、ガツガツした、お前ら全員食ってやる！といわんばかりの覇気がありません。生ギターの音色のせいでしょうか。やすらぎとくつろぎの音楽です。

　A3、これほど緊張感の乏しい「ノック・オン・ウッド」のカバーもないんじゃないかって気がします。
　これはこれで悪くない。しかしもうちょっと攻めの姿勢があってもよかったんじゃないの。

　本作の特筆すべきは、その高音質。すごいですよこれ。何せ、私のしょぼいオーディオでもわかるんだから。
