「ふられた気持ち」はホール＆オーツのこれで知りました。
　後年、たしか映画『トップガン』のサントラでライチャス・ブラザースが歌ったのを聴いたとき、何か満たされない苛立ち、「そこはそうじゃない！」みたいな思いにとらわれたものです。

　どちらが先か、という歴史的事実よりも、どちらを先に聴いたか、という個人的経験により、心の中のオリジンは決定してしまうものなのですね。
　似たような経験に、シンディ・ローパーが歌う「ホワッツ・ゴーイン・オン」を先に聴いてなじんでしまった後、マーヴィン・ゲイのオリジナルを聴いて、「もっとシャキッとしろよ」なんて思ったりとか。
