　ファーストイシューの日本盤は、原題"Daryl Hall & John Oates"をほぼカタカナにしただけのこのタイトル。
　ところが78年頃に再発されたときには、『サラ・スマイル』という邦題に変更されてしまいました。ケッ。

　のちにタイトル曲となる「サラ・スマイル」は、たしかに名曲。

　それはともかく、各曲につけられた邦題が、かなり几帳面な直訳になっていることに注目。英語をカタカナにしただけの芸のない放題よりも、こっちの方がいい。

　いわゆるぶっとび邦題がないことも、誠実な印象をもたらすではありませんか。
「サラ・スマイル」より「微笑んでよサラ」の方が低姿勢で、この曲の何とも言えない塩辛い雰囲気に合っているような気がします。

　アルバム全編、地味な流れなので、80年代のホール＆オーツが好きな人にはちょっと物足りないかもしれません。
