　ジェイ・グレイドンがプロデュースした3作、『ジス・タイム』『ブレイキン・アウェイ』それにこの『ジャロウ』はいずれも高水準の出来で甲乙つけがたく、地雷がない反面、どれを聴いても似たりよったりの感もあります。

　A1「モーニン」はさわやか路線を極めたアル・ジャロウの代表曲。黒人音楽にコクや粘りを求める人にとって、許し難いほどのさわやかさです。シングル・カットされ、ヒットしました。聴いたことある人、多いでしょう。今でもFMラジオでよくかかりますね。
　なるほど名曲。聴いているとウキウキしますなあ。
