　デヴィッド・パックという人は、西海岸で活躍したプログレ・バンド、アンブロージアのヴォーカル兼ギタリストです。

　A面はちんたらした曲がひたすら続き、B面はイケイケの曲がひたすら続きます。
　この構成はいかがなものかと。アナログ・レコードの特性を活かして各面に振り分けているのかもしれんけど、わざわざ分ける必然性が希薄で、むしろちんたら系とイケイケ系を交互に配した方が、アルバムの流れにメリハリが生まれ、楽しく聴けるんじゃないのかなあ。

　さて80年代も真ん中を過ぎるあたりから、LPの収録時間がけっこう長くなってきます。両面の合計が45分を超える作品が、ゾロゾロ店頭に並ぶことになるのです。
　本作も47分くらいあります。長いよ。内容は悪くないのに、長いから聴く気が起こらないんだよね。残念。
